Wine in the New Year was a fabulous event hosted by Francesca’s Fancy Flops.
Wine in the New Year!
Wine in the New Year Wines
We wanted a beautiful atmosphere where our guests could feel like they we’re walking into a winter wonderland:
The biggest hits of the evening we’re the following wines: Coopershawk, Mike Ditka, Francis Ford Coppola Cabernet was a huge hit & everyone kept saying how lovely the Sangria was. So many of our guests we’re familiar with Coopershawk and kept talking about what their favorite Coopershawk wine was. Paluzzi Moscato was the first bottle to go and was gone within minutes! The guys couldn’t wait to try to Mike Ditka wine and soon those bottles we’re gone as well! A guest even said, “Ditka makes a good wine.”
Another guest stated that the wine went perfect with the Coopla Cabernet. Wine is a perfect addition to any glass of fabulous wine.

We even had a sign your cork station where you could sign your name on the cork & then put it in the keepsake wine container. These containers are super cute and put memories to your corks. Every bottle of wine tells a story. The gorgeous wine charms we’re from Kiwi Avenue Jewelry.

We had lights in the Centerpieces and across the room filled compliments of Glo Fx.

We had red sangria with peaches, orange juice, lemons, ginger ale, orange slices and Red Slices Sangria! We used 1 cup of Orange Juice, 1 cup of Ginger Ale, 5 oranges slices up, 1 lemon sliced up, pure peach juice & three bottles of red sangria. We let it soak for 24 hours and then served! It was absolutely delicious! Slices Sangria is a must try!
Desserts filled the table and we’re a huge hit. We had lovely Chocolate covered shoes from Candy Cottage, Cotton Candy from Candylious Randolph, cupcakes and fabulous bars from Sweet Annies, fabulous festive suckers from Sherrie Core Designs, Puppy Chow (chocolate and peanut butter chex) & so much more! Everyone kept saying how amazing the brownies from Sweet Annie’s we’re. I actually got two emails after the event asking for Sweet Annie’s phone number because the brownies, bars and cupcakes we’re so delicious! People couldn’t believe that the shoes from Candy Cottage we’re actually edible. They we’re so incredibly adorable! Everyone kept saying that the cotton candy was amazing and they we’re so delighted to see it. We even had a few guests that wanted to take a bag home because she said she was so obsessed with cotton candy!
