Who doesn’t love something classy and fabulous? Are you looking for an amazing idea for your next wedding shower, birthday party or just girls night? Try a CHANEL theme! I had a 80th birthday party for my grandma with a Chanel theme and thought I would share all of these amazing items with everyone!
First thing was I had to get my grandma to my house without her knowing. I told her that we had tickets to something & put “fake,” tickets on my front door when she arrived. She opened her tickets and then walked in to a “Surprise Chanel Party!”
One of my favorite things was the “Chanel Wall.” It was filled with new & vintage Chanel Ads. You can find more photos of the Chanel wall on our Pinterest page! I used about 300 different Ads and taped them all together on the Chanel wall. I absolutely love how it turned out, but just to give you a head’s up, it does take a few hours to do.
Now onto the rest of the party favorites!
The tables were covered with black table cloths, table runners and my favorite touch was the black and white Infusion Candles! The Infusion Oranique candles are by far my favorite candle of today! Love them! They are classy, smell amazing and look stunning especially for the black & white theme.
I also used ribbon and streamers to make curtains to walk into the kitchen. The streamer curtains were a nice touch and honestly cost me less than $10 to make.
Looking for great party snacks? Definitely try Cedars Foods Hummus! The Fat Free ones are amazing and Yes FAT FREE! Does it get any better? I also love appetizers for a party setting in exchange for the sit down heavy meal. I prefer it because then your guests can snack all night long.
Now onto the dessert table! First thing is first- the sign! I made a Chanel No 80 sign. If the Chanel party is for someone’s birthday, you can do any number. For example, if it’s someone’s 30th birthday- you can do Chanel No 30 throughout the event. It’s a great way to include the Chanel theme, but making it very personal. I used a foam board and cut out Chanel No 80 and glued it on. It ended up looking super cute! I also went to a local craft store and purchased a strain of pearls. I hung them on the sign and it looked super cute and classy.
The cake was done from Sweet Dreams Cakes in Frankfort, IL. I have to say it was my first time purchasing a cake from this bakery and it turned out looking absolutely stunning! I loved the way it turned out, looked fantastic on the dessert table, but the cake and mouse was average. But I do have to say that is looked stunning! It was the centerpiece & stood out like no other. Then I ordered various desserts from local bakeries and ordered some candy from the intranet as well! Pink, Black and Pink all around! Some of my favorite items were the lollipops from Sherrie Core Designs! They taste AMAZING & the designs can be personalized to whatever you need! She truly does a great job.
Personalized Napkins were a must for the party as well! Napkins Personalized has great napkins and can personalize anything for any event. I love how they did the Classy pink napkins for the Chanel Party!
We also had amazing desserts and some delicious cakes from Darcy’s Delights! The Black Velvet is my absolute favorite and was a HUGE HIT!
We always love looking at pictures of the birthday girl! Why not put together an adorable Chanel No. 5 inspired poster board!
I printed out my own Chanel labels and put them on various vases/dishes for the table. I also cut out personalized Chanel 80 tags and glued them on the “TO GO,” bags for the guests. Another one of a MUST have dessert table item was the chocolate shoes! Yes, I said chocolate shoes! Candy Cottage does an amazing job with their designs and can be customized for your colors as well! In addition to it looking amazing, they also TASTE great too!
We had a lot of little ones coming, so I set up a card station with markers, crayons and Chanel/Fashion coloring sheets! They loved it! You can print different coloring sheets online as well! No Chanel Party is complete without pearls. There we’re containers filled with pearls necklaces throughout the event for guests to take and wear.
If you have any Chanel Party ideas or anything you would like to share, please feel free to do so. Enjoy & please feel free to find more photos here.
