Sugar and Spice

Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth? Do you live in the Chicago area? If you do, look no further for somewhere sweet and fun to go! The Sugar Factory-Chicago (actually in Rosemont, IL) is perfect! You watch into the front doors surrounded by candy, gorgeous chandeliers and tons of people. I did go on a Saturday and it was incredibly busy. If you intend on eating there, be sure to make a reservation. If you do not, I am not sure you will get a table. We walked into the restaurant area which had more gorgeous chandeliers.

We started our evening off right with a Sugar Factory drink! We got the Lollypop Passion drink and it was amazing! The signature goblet is a true taste of the tropics. It is a mix of melon, coconut and pineapple, with not an OVERLY sweet taste. The glass is garnished Lollipops and candy necklaces! It is a fun drink that is a must if you go there.

If you love extremely extremely sweet drinks, you will like the martinis, otherwise I would stick with the goblet drinks. And why not, the goblet drinks have dry ice? It’s an overall experience, not just a drink. See below for the video!

We finished off with the cookie jar sundae. Where do I start? That was the best sundae I have ever eaten in my entire life!  You can view the entire menu here.

Everything looks great in the above pictures. I live about 15 minutes away and haven’t made it up as of yet. I didn’t hear positive reviews, but I would be willing to try. Do you have to make a reservation or could you walk into the bar? Is there a bar?

  3. Rita says:
